Intro

immigrant cultures impacting New Zealand

There has been a remarkably large number of immigrants arriving in New Zealand over the past years and while there appears to be an amazingly positive outlook towards multiculturalism in New Zealand and its effects on society, the negatives are some huge issues that need to be addressed. Cultural identity, racism, and crime seems to be making Kiwis’ or New Zealanders uncomfortable, myself included.  . NZ Society in general is taking a turn for the worst as more and more immigrants arrive in NZ and the “Kiwi” population diminishes. With the lack of opportunities for Kiwis, a large portion of them have already left New Zealand for neighbouring countries. This is why the immigrant problem needs to be reviewed immediately.

  1. Are there really that many American immigrants?? I believe that they are invading through the TV, and the people have spoken, they are cool with that.
Also, dude, you offer no solutions and do not take into account all the factors, and it leaves your argument really weak. it's not just glamorization of gangs that prompts people to join them, it's a lack of education and poverty! Plus, we have the internet, media is coming, no way around it.
Also, we are still by far the majority. And if you cruise out of the city to the idyllic beaches and landscapes that we actually advertise to immigrants you will find a good old boy with a sheep dog.
I do agree that immigration isn't helping multiculturalism. A lot of the Asian population just have their own culture, language and shops completely separate from the locals. and there is little to no interaction. However, you are going really heavy on this and aren't providing any real perspective on the benefits so you come across as racist..... The Asians are "scheming" eh? how fitting......
